Get a Nikon. Canon has always been lagging behind Nikon, D90 + D5000 > 450D + 500D
OKay. So pros, Please tell me. I’m gonna buy Canon eos 450D or 1000D. I know the camera has a putton where it takes a foto (So I know almost nothing about cameras :)
My hands are big compared to normal guy.
So which do u suggest, I can afford to both of them, but which would be better in ur opinion? ( is 450D slower in some way, or worse in another way than 1000D ? )

hi, can anyone help me: on canons website it says the 450d has an auto-iso of 100-400, but the 1000d has 100-800. i know on both u can manually go higher but surely thats a big problem with the 450d for it not to go automatically to 800?? also whats the auto ISO of the d3000. thhhhaaaankkks
i’ve got canon eos 1000D and it works very well for me,but of course you have the decision :)
what do you guys think about this vs. nikon d60? for photo quality and value for your money?
Go with Canon if you want a high quality camera

@laurencrosbyy A year ago I would have recommended the 450D and I have one, brilliant camera. Buying a camera now, go with the 500 or 550D.

@spanners08 Hard to understand exactly what you meant, but changing the camera to auto will remove any settings (like aperture) that you had set in a manual mode. You can have different settings in every mode in fact, and the camera remembers them!
