Classic Game Room HD – HOMERUN for Atari 2600 review
Classic Game Room HD reviews HOMERUN for Atari 2600 VCS video computer system. Homerun is a baseball video game from 1978 for the venerable Atari 2600 and plays better than many new baseball games today…. at least for fans of old school games. Graphically it is ancient and more than 30 years old, but the gameplay holds up three decades later and remains fun and addictive. This Home Run for Atari 2600 review shows game play of CGR hitting home runs and beaning batters in the head. Use the adjustable difficulty switch to set the skill level of the opposing team, select which version of the game you want to play and hit a HOME RUN on Atari 2600! The old school sports games on Atari 2600 aren’t very expensive and can be had for free if you pick them up with other games. But just because they aren’t worth squat doesn’t mean they aren’t fun. Play some HOMERUN against a friend on Atari 2600 today!
Loved this!!
I loved pitching in this. Nice control for an Atari game.
BAHAHAHAHA EEL-FALCON!!!
Truly an open-minded individual.
old shcool forever!
I think your team should have been called “The Wind Squids”. Although the Eel Falcons are awesome,
This game makes me want a pet eel falcon.
mlb 09 the show is better. lol :)
Best baseball game ever.
I wonder how this game compares to Baseball!
on the Magnavox Odyssey 2.
1978
dude! get a dsi or a nintendo wii.
ITS 2009 FOR CRISS SAKE!!!
P.S.if you guys rate this comment poor
go fuck yourself !!!
what are you, 12? some people play video games for fun, not to be ‘modern’ or ‘advanced’
and he has a Wii and DS.
wait a second, wouldn’t a right-handed person be at a slight disadvantage because he starts farther from the 1st base. I mean this in real baseball too.
>:(
EEL FALCONS FTW! this game is great, I used to play baseball and I hated it. I prefer this game over real baseball anyday :D
Lawl I rated you poor. Mark already has a wii and a DS, you dumbshit
eel falcon is actually a type of old ford car, lol.
@KedViper Yes, but you are also already facing toward 1st base, as opposed to having your back to it.
Yeah
Mark had a sad childhood.
In a certain viewpoint. I’m sure he loved it.
It’s still a disadvantage.
Some people, like me, have no problems running backwards and flipping mid-run, like, two steps in.
It’s actually harder to get a fast running start from a standing position, because reaction time is a bitch if you’re not really sure you hit the ball or not. Those inches are precious.
take this fucking comment down! IAMMLITRON!
This game was great! In 1979.
@lord35ar yeah, games dont sound like they used haha…i love that retro sound <3
I loved this game
