The Cost of Hiring a Debt Collection Agency
The single most important factor in your getting your money back is to spend your money wisely on selecting the best collection agency. These agencies charge based on a lot of variables and in the end that may determine the price you pay for getting back the money owed to debtors.
Most of the debt collection agencies charge a percentage of the money they will be able to obtain for you for the delinquent accounts you have. This percentage can vary from say 10% and go up to as high as 50%. If these agencies cannot get you your money back then they will not charge you anything at all. But that is not all as these agencies will usually charge a percentage based on several factors relating to your delinquent accounts.
The older the accounts the more percentage they will charge from you as older accounts are very tough to get back money from and hence obviously higher the costs. The trickiest accounts are those which you have been trying to get back money from and were not able to get the money back at all. That means the agency will have to put up more work to wrangle the money back and hence the high cost.
The other costs which are involved in the whole process making long distance call, travel , filing fees or even doing background checks on certain people . All that is a separate cost from the percentage cost mentioned above. Most of the agencies charge these once the job is done but make sure to check the contract for any other hidden charges that may hit you. That is why the due diligence is important before selecting the correct collection agency. You can also make sure to have all costs included in one package and then let the agency charge a percentage fee. That may be easier on you as tracking all the separate costs can easily become a headache if you have a large number of unpaid accounts.
Some agencies may charge you higher fixed fee rather than percentage if you have say for example small amounts to be collected for large number of accounts . In this case the fixed fee is better rather than a percentage as you know what costs are involved and agencies also know what to expect as fees. If you go this route make sure to get some thing into the contract with regards to the success criteria else it may so happen that you do not get any money back but may need to pay the fees.

What Are Everyday Mysteries?
Everyday mysteries are things that you unsuccessfully try to understand. Somnambulism is as mysterious to me as the condition it describes - sleepwalking. Only 1.2% of the population sleepwalks, which explains why I’ve never known anyone with the condition. Sleepwalkers are supposedly in a non-dream state of sleep, which allows the process going on in the brain to manifest in actions. Although some drugs have been thought to cause sleepwalking, somnambulism experts say drugs only exacerbate the condition, as do anxiety, sleep deprivation and high fever. Although scientists haven’t determined a specific cause for sleepwalking, they have discovered a genetic predisposition. Sleepwalking, however, isn’t just walking. Some people perform complex tasks while they’re asleep, such as driving, preparing meals and writing checks. The checks don’t make sense, but they are signed. I don’t think I’m a sleepwalker, but the check writing thing sounds like something I do every April 15th.
The workings of the circadian clock are another of my everyday mysteries. The circadian clock is supposedly a biological, time-keeping mechanism that connects the body’s rhythms to external light levels - thus determining our sleep and wake cycles. Recently the Journal of Science reported that mice have a second circadian clock that connects with food consumption and that can override their light-based clock. Researchers at Harvard’s School of Medicine think that the second clock helps animals adjust to hard times. It allows them to switch their sleep and wake cycles to maximize their opportunity to find food. Although the researchers think that all animals have this second clock, I think what maximizes the human animal’s opportunity to find food is the light which goes on when we open the refrigerator door.
One of the mysteries that is no longer as mysterious - at least to scientists - is what causes left-handedness. In 2007 geneticists at Oxford University discovered “LRRTM1″, also known as Leucine-Rich Repeat Transmembrane Neuronal Protein 1. It’s the first gene that has been linked to the increased odds of being left-handed. Nevertheless, LRRTM1 doesn’t explain why only 10% of the population is left-handed or why left-handedness is more common in males. Something else which remains a mystery is why researchers at both Lafayette College and Johns Hopkins University found that left-handed men who graduate from college earn 26% more money than their right-handed counterparts. According to the researchers, the earnings difference doesn’t apply to women. - which may be a left-handed compliment.

What Is A Limited Liability Company Or LLC?
An LLC is a legal form of business that has characteristics of both corporations and a partnership. This form of business offers limited liability protection to its owners. In other words the owners of the business cannot be held fully responsible for any debts that the business occurs or actions taken on its behalf. This type of business form is best suited for small businesses with that have a small number of owners and preferably just one.
So what are some of the basic characteristics of a Limited Liability Company? Well for starters the owners of an LLC are not partners or shareholders like they are in other forms of business they are members and every LLC has to have at least one member. Members of an LLC cannot be held personally liable for the debts of the company. This is the same as for a corporation. Just don’t make the mistake of signing any documents where you provide your personal guarantee that the company will pay a bill or honor an agreement. If the company for some reason does not pay that bill or live up to an agreement then you can be held liable.
So just like a corporation you as an owner can use an LLC as a form of protection for your personal assets. And depending on the type of business you want to form this can be extremely important if something were to happen. Because being an LLC also provides you with legal protection in case the company was to be sued for some reason. Sometimes being protected from your business is the most important thing of all.
Now how is a Limited Liability Company like a partnership? Plain and simple it’s all in the taxes. LLC’s are not subject to the double taxation rule imposed on corporations. To explain this rule is easy. If your business is a corporation and you make a profit for the year that profit must be taxed. After the profits are taxed then you as the owner may take the profits and issue them to yourself as the owner and any other people that own a percentage of the business. This of course is your dividend. Well the IRS views the dividend as personal income and it is again taxed as part or your personal taxes. In an LLC the profits are not taxed. They are distributed to the members based on whatever percentages have been previously worked out. Then they are only taxed as personal income when that person files their taxes for the year.
Also if the business loses money for the year all members of the LLC can deduct the equivalent loss percentage from their income. You’ll of course need supporting documents to prove the loss to the IRS. And if the members do want to leave their profits in the company for business purposes then the Limited Liability Company can file a tax return of its own.
What most people gain that form a Limited Liability Company is flexibility. You can structure the management however the members see fit. You have the protection of a corporation for your personal assets. And you can elect to either leave your profits in the company, have them taxed or the profits can be distributed and the members can pay the taxes themselves. But you avoid the double taxation penalty that corporations can incur.

Used Golf Clubs Buying Guide
Golf equipment can get expensive as you start buying more and more branded golf equipment. In this era of recessionary trends the option that you have is to buy used golf equipment and that will help you save enormous sums of money over a period of time.
Golf clubs is an expensive item within the golf equipment set that can be bought used and there are several on-line and offline shops that sell used glob club sets or even used golf clubs. These shops sell branded and high end golf sets at a discount to the original prices as these are pre-owned. But there are certain things that you should be careful about before you go ahead and start looking for used equipment.
Golfers know that grooves on a golf club are what is really needed for a golf ball to be driven further and with a spin. That means that when you start your hunt for golf club or club sets then you need to buy clubs that have good club face which means that they have good grooves on the club face.
The next important area for golf club is the shaft and the shaft needs to be closely inspected when buying the used golf clubs. Close inspection is a must for the shafts as the cracks in the shaft may not be easily detected with the naked eye. There are two types of shaft available which are graphite shaft and the metal shaft. Each has its own characteristics and you need to be aware of the way they work so as to eliminate any chances that you will get a faulty shaft when buying the used golf clubs.
The golf club is held with a grip on the top of the golf club and that grip can be an important factor for you as a golfer. If the grip is worn and damaged then my suggestion would be to try buying the new one or try some other used golf club.
If you are buying on-line then get the pictures of the club face , shaft and the grip individually so that you are reasonably sure about the quality of the golf club you are buying. Also make sure that you have the right to return if you do not find the club satisfactory. It will save you a lot of agony and hassle later.
Buying used golf clubs is definitely a money saver but there are some risks attached to it.

Techniques How To Meditate
Many people have asked about different techniques how to meditate. There are a variety of different ways, but the basic principles are universal.
Meditation in some form or another seems to be a part of most cultures. The methods and techniques are different, of course, but the practice of meditation in some form is found almost everywhere
The most common techniques of meditation as a formal practice most likely developed somewhere in the East. India is the most probable birthplace of formal meditation techniques, although various forms of meditation were very common in places like China and Japan.
Transcendental Meditation was introduced to the West in 1958 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, a spiritual guru from India. This popular technique of meditation first gained mass exposure in the 1960’s when Maharishi was visited by the Beatles. This method of meditation employs the use of a mantra or “sacred sound” that is given by a guru or teacher.
The practice of meditation usually involves sitting quietly in an environment where you will not be disturbed or distracted. Most people begin by closing their eyes and focusing on their breathing while allowing their body to relax.
Many people associate meditation with sitting on the ground in the “lotus” position with their legs crossed. The most important thing, however, is to be comfortable. Many people like to sit in a chair with their feet on the floor. Most experts think that it’s important to be sitting erect while meditating. Lying down to meditate can often result in falling asleep instead and missing out on the true benefits that meditation offers.
It’s important to allow enough time for your mind and body to relax when first beginning to meditate. At first, you simply follow the rhythm of your breathing. Don’t try to force anything. As you are “watching” your breath your attention is on the process of inhaling and exhaling.
When distracting thoughts enter your mind - and it is “when,” not “if” these distracting thoughts come - it is best to just observe and accept them without judgment. Allow them to move through your conscious mind without focusing on them or allowing them to pull you away from your meditation practice. Trying to “resist” these kinds of thoughts will only give them more power and draw your attention away from the central purpose of the meditation.
Meditation can last from a few minutes to many hours. It is best to keep your meditation times short at first. It is seldom beneficial to meditate for more than an hour, even after years of experience. You should focus on quality, not quantity.
Many people experience an increased sense of awareness or “mindfulness” during and after meditating. They also often experience a greater sense of peace and wellbeing as distractions fall away. The results of meditation can be quite dramatic.
The benefits of meditation are well substantiated by modern science. Over six hundred academic and scientific studies have been done at more than two hundred independent research institutions in thirty-five countries. All attest to the physical, spiritual and psychological benefits of regular meditation.
Although the techniques how to meditate vary slightly from one culture to the next, the basic principles of relaxation and mindfulness are universal. Meditation is an excellent way to handle the stress of modern life and to regain the balance that many of us are missing.
Although meditation does not require formal training or education, the more you study the different methods and techniques available to you, the more you can benefit from this amazing tool.

The Case For Consolidation As A Debt Reduction Tool
If you have a large or unmanageable amount of unsecured personal debt, then a debt consolidation plan or good credit counselling session are probably the best ways there are to reduce your debt to manageable payment levels or even eliminate them completely. Debt consolidation can be a quick solution to a problem that could potentially last for years, even decades. In fact, it takes some people a lifetime to eliminate their debt. Only by managing the debt carefully or by consolidating to one affordable monthly payment can you guarantee to get rid of debt in anything like a short period of time.
There are different programs available for debt reduction or debt elimination, consolidation being just one of these. The amount of time it takes to erase your debt depends on which debt management solution you choose.
It is vital in all cases that you consult an expert in order to ensure that you receive the best possible advice. The worst thing you can possibly do is to sit back and just watch your debt increase without even lifting a finger to speed the debt relief process up. We in the debt management business call this Ostrich syndrome, where the debtor buries their head in the sand in the hope that the debt will somehow magically vanish. If you are a passive person, and decide not to take some form of proactive action there is a big chance you’ll be in debt for the rest of your life; your freedom will be strictly limited and the pressure on your daily and family life greatly enhanced.
Many people can’t believe that debt consolidation really works. “How can it” we hear people say, all that we are doing is replacing one debt with another. The best advice I have for you is; speak to a debt consolidation expert and you’ll see the actual numbers for yourself. One loan with an interest rate of between 6% and 9% is far easier to handle than several loans at varying rates and credit cards starting at 15.9%. You will also find that a fixed term loan is easier to pay off than credit cards where you pay off this month and are tempted to spend again next.
The internet contains lots of debt consolidation sites where you can find a consolidation calculator, but do not treat the results as absolute, always speak to a debt consolidation expert before making your final decision. Type in the information about your debt into an online calculator and in seconds you’ll see with your own eyes how much you could have saved with a debt consolidation plan. What do you have to lose by trying this? Absolutely nothing, you’ll only gain and playing about with the calculators can be good fun, in a geeky kind of way.
You can literally reduce your debt payments instantly, just by clicking a few buttons and launching an online enquiry and not paying a penny for the advice. The initial advisor call with almost all debt management and debt consolidation companies is free so take advantage of it. As I mentioned earlier, even if you decide not to go through with this type debt solution, it will certainly not hurt you to try. If you are up to your throat in debt, go online today, search for “debt consolidation company” or “debt management company”, or go to a recommended personal debt help web page and solve your debt problems now.

Cheap Unlocked Mobile Phones For The Needy
Have you ever wondered how you could buy a cheap unlocked mobile phone? Maybe you have even wondered what an unlocked mobile phone even is. Well I would like to provide a little insight for you so that you may better understand what they are and how they can benefit people. Many months ago after the first Iphone was released there was a huge deal made out of the first person that was able to unlock the phone. The reason this was such a big deal is because the Iphone was restricted to use on just the AT&T network. People that had service plans on other network were out of luck when it came to being able to use this phone.
With a cheap unlocked mobile phone you are able to use the phone on any network you choose. Most phones are built for certain networks and have proprietary software that forces them to only function on the network they were built for. As you can see this would cause problems for a lot of people. Thus the unlocked mobile phone market was born. People buy these things like crazy because of the major benefits that they offer. One of the major benefits is that fact that you can buy one of these phones and use it on your network after your contract has expired. This is awesome because it allows people to not have to resign a contract with their service provider. Not many people like being tied down to a contract with a cancellation fee so this is the perfect work around for these types of situations. It can sometimes be difficult to find cheap unlocked mobile phones, but they are out there. Many unlocked phones are more expensive because the people selling them had to alter the phone to make it unlocked. This can sometimes be done with different types of software, but in a lot of cases the phone has to actually be opened up and the wiring inside is soldered differently.
You will also want to buy your cheap unlocked mobile phone from a source that you trust or at least know that you can get your money back. The reason for this is that you don’t want to get scammed by someone that is selling an unlocked phone and then never sends you the phone after you have paid them. Always stay away from Western Union as it is never a good idea to pay for things. Paypal is one of the best options or services like it because it offers protection to buyers against fraudulent transactions. You can always follow my rule of thumb about most things in life. If it is too good to be true it probably is. So if you are in the market for a cheap unlocked mobile phone, just make sure you do your homework first and then find exactly what you are after. We know you won’t regret your decision. If you are still too scared you can always buy a new phone.

How Do Lasers Work?
Almost all of us are acquainted with lasers, as we have used or seen lasers in action at some point of our lives. Lasers are used in a variety of places, like for pointers for a presentation in a corporate boardroom classroom or as a cat toy.
A closer example at home is the usage of lasers in the CD players, where a laser is used to read the information stored in the CD. A recent breakthrough in this field is BLU ray discs, in which a high intensity laser is used to read ultra high capacity discs.
Lasers also find intensive application in fields such as holography (holography is the art of etching a three-dimensional image onto a material using lasers - the type of laser depends upon the material to be etched). Apart from this, lasers are used by the military in many of their programs, to correct eye disorders by LASIK surgeries, and in industries that use dangerous chemicals to detect leakage.
So that’s what they’re used for, but we haven’t answered the question of what a laser actually is. LASER is an acronym that stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Now what this means is that lasers are basically tiny particles which are radiated, and these particles are converted to laser beams by manipulating them by a number of means.
Unlike white light which is made up of seven colors - ROY G BIV, or red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, the seven colors which form the rainbow, lasers are usually made up of monochromatic (single-colored) light. This is because white light spreads out as it travels, but monochromatic light is almost non divergent, that is it does not spread much even after traveling large distances.
This increases the range of the laser light. Moreover, normal white light will refract (bend) differently when it hits an object - each color bends at a slightly different angle. Monochromatic light only has to bend in one way, so it keeps its coherence (the ability of light rays to stay together as a bundle), so the laser stays more focused.
Monochromatic light can be generated by utilizing free electrons (electrons are very small parts of atoms which are the building blocks of all kinds of matter existing in the universe). Electrons, when highly energized, give out that energy in the form of radiation before coming back to their normal state.
Specific types of radiation can be created by electrons energized to specific energy levels, giving out single colored light. This light is then focused into a single powerful beam by one of several methods, such as by using a cathode tube or by utilizing ionized air in vacuum tubes.
The following is a list of the types of lasers and their applications, and shows that lasers can be produced by different methods:
*Dye Lasers- used for spectroscopy, various kinds of research, birthmark removal, and for separating isotopes. The range of this laser can be tuned by changing the kind of dye used.
*Free electron lasers- has various medical uses, and is used in atmospheric research and material science.
*Nickel-like samarium lasers- can be used for high resolution microscopy and holography.
*Raman lasers- used in creating optical signal amplification for telecommunications.
*Nuclear pumped lasers- currently being used for research.
Lasers, if used in the right way have innumerous applications, which are growing by the day, but they can also be devastating if used in the wrong way. Of course, always be careful when using, playing with or looking at lazers (such as when you play with a laser cat toy), they can be very damaging to your eyes (or your kitty’s) if you look directly at them.

2 Vital Tips to Dealing With Negative People
Negative people can suck the life right out of you if you’re not careful! If you spend even just a tiny amount of time with them, you will begin to feel negative too.
Don’t try to change a negative person - It will drain everything within you! Remember the last time you had a huge argument with your spouse, or someone else?Remember how the emotional turmoil took it’s toll on you?
The best way to deal with negative is to just simply avoid it at all costs! Here are two vital tips to dealing with negative people…
1. Stay away
There have been so many times in my life when I had to break off some relationships because of the negativity associated with them.
Now, I’m not saying you should stop loving and caring for the negative people in your life, but just love and care for them from a distance. Just quit hanging out with them and doing things together.
If someone in your life is sucking energy out of you because of their negative attitude, it’s time to find someone else to hang out with. If it’s your spouse unfortunately, you’re gonna find it rather difficult to stay away.
In a case like that, some counseling will be required. It’s a funny thing that when a third party tells your spouse something you’ve been trying to say for years, they seem to get it.
2. Get away
Some people think that listening to others’ problems is a good character trait. It may be, if the person complaining is a good friend and not just someone who regularly unloads a bunch of garbage just because that’s what they do best.
When you hear someone go on with a negative attitude, it’s time to find the door! You need to get away from it because it’s like a virus. Negativity spreads and tries to attach itself to anything it can get a hold of.
Sometimes you may not be able to get away from it, like if you’re at a holiday family get-together. There will always be situations like that where you can’t do much about it, except wait it out.
But, just being able to identify the negative will help you handle it a little better. Maybe you can try to be nice and keep to yourself as much as possible. Maybe even have a light-hearted discussion with yourself in your mind while the negative is spewing out.
Conclusion
Being positive and staying positive is absolutely critical to your success in life! If you’re going to win in your chosen field, you must avoid negative people and situations as much as you can.
Now, I’m not saying to be insensitive to people’s problems. If you can help, then of course, help them. Just learn to identify the times when people are just plain being negative. There is no helping those types of people because they don’t want help.
