Perfect Weddings - Summer VS Winter
It is very popular for couples to have a seasonal wedding theme. In fact, it is excellent to have a wedding in either summer or winter. So, what are the difference between a summer and a winter wedding?
Summer Wedding
One of the most popular summer weddings is probably a beach wedding. What is good about it is that you can have a wonderful outdoor event. Since a beach themed is usually considered less formal, it suits perfectly couples who do not like a formal event.
Another plus of a summer wedding, essentially a beach theme, is that it will be a lot cheaper than arranging that in traditional places such as a church and a hotel ballroom. It will be good if you would like to save some money on your wedding.
However, summer wedding is not without problems. Since it will be quite hot in summer, things like excessive sunlight and high temperature may make your guests feel uncomfortable. The weather is always the enemy of outdoor events. You have to think about what you will do if it rains heavily on your big day. If you are having in on a beach, the breeze may take the sand on the beach on your food and this will certainly pollute your food. You have to take extra care on such issues.
Winter Wedding
A winter wedding is certainly a romantic one. It can be very unique and beautiful. You may even have your wedding together with a Christmas party. This will make the event even more memorable! Of course you will probably choose not to have an outdoor wedding if you are planning to host it in winter. This is just because it will be too cold to have an outdoor event.
One of the advantages of a winter wedding is that winter is traditionally not a peak season for wedding. As a result you may be able to get your catering services and photographer a lot easier since their schedules are not as tight as that in the peak season. Sometimes they may even offer you discounts for being not ordering the services in peak season. To this end you will be able to save money on your big day.
Yet the problem of a winter wedding is that some of your guests may not be able to join or come to your event. It is because Christmas is a peak season for travel. Most people will leave the country. As a result, you will need to inform your guests a lot earlier to make sure that they will reserve the time for your big day.
As mentioned, both a winter and summer wedding has its pros and cons. However, you can always make a perfect one if you can let your imagination fly.
